The role
To create original, strategically sound, visually challenging design work ensuring delivery on time.
Reporting to
Studio Manager / Creative Director
Main Duties
§ Ensure that appropriate, accurate and visually challenging design of the highest standard is implemented at all times.
§ Work with Copywriter to ensure approved copy is accurately translated into design.
§ Professional presentation to colleagues and clients of work.
Understanding the Agency
§ Understand the Agency credentials.
§ Understand the roles and responsibilities of other Agency Creative teams and manage their involvement appropriately.
Creative Awareness and Management
§ Understand and inform the creative briefing process .
§ If appropriate, liaise with Account teams to challenge the brief if felt necessary.
§ Judge creative ideas for factual accuracy and relevance to brief.
§ If appropriate, assist or present creative concepts to client.
Production Processes
§ Demonstrate a good understanding of print production processes.
§ Complete timesheets at the end of each day.
Self Development
Proactively pursue self development opportunities within the Main Agency.
Demonstrate a positive, solutions orientated attitude.
Skills & Experience
§ A formal Graphic Design / Fine Art qualification
§ Understand and articulate all aspects of creative and its link to ‘traditional’ advertising and marketing
§ Excellent graphic design/visual communication skills
§ MAC literate
