Position: Junior System and Network Administrator 

Location: Tunis (Tunisia)

Job Offer Description:

The Junior System and Network Administrator will:

  • Provide technical expertise to the other department, coordinating the delivery of dependable and responsive support for the Helpdesk.
  • Install and configure new end-user hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Create documentation of system configuration.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware, software, and networking.
  • Perform user account changes within Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Monitor servers, storage, and related systems for performance and reliability. Ensure that all systems are kept current with regard to patch levels.
  • Assist with system troubleshooting and problem resolution efforts.
  • Execute IT Infrastructure projects as directed by IT Infrastructure Manager.
  • Tracking and documenting incident management.
  • Server Administration – Ms Windows Server 2008 R2 and Linux (any distro).
  • Understand business needs/requirements and develop the network architecture to meet the business objectives.

   Required Skills:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Fast learner and Team Spirit
  • Strong documentation & organization
  • Desktop Support – Windows 7
  • Basic Networking knowledge: Routers, Firewalls and switches (Cisco),VPN IPSec, cabling, wireless
  • Basic knowledge of Linux (any distro).
  • Basic knowledge of Webservers based on IIS, LAMP and Tomcat.
  • Basic knowledge of DBMS: Mysql, Postgress and Oracle.
  • Familiar with system virtualization (Vmware, KVM, Xen, etc).
  • Familiar with BIND, LDAP and SAMBA.
  • Basic understanding of networking - Cisco
  • Critical sense of urgency, security and ability to operate under great stress.
  • Discretion in working with highly confidential materials
