Job Title                              Manager – Sales

Work Experience            Minimum of 7+ years in related industry

Qualification                    A university degree in marketing or business studies is preferred and a minimum         of four years in Trading sector.

 

Job function                      The Employee requires reporting to Management team and the profile in detail,            Manages sales of the company’s products and services in within a defined           geographic area, province or country. Ensures consistent, profitable growth in             sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel. Identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short-                and long-term sales and earnings. Collaborate with the management in            establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals for the company.               Manages an assigned geographic sales area or product line to maximize sales      revenues and meet corporate objectives. Establishes and manages effective         programs to compensate, coach, appraise and train sales personnel.

·         Leadership and motivation of individual team members (when applicable)

Job Description                              

 

·         Sell the company’s products by implementing sales plan and supporting sales staff

·         Plan the sales as per the annual sales target and ensure the targets are met on a monthly basis

·         Making use of the print and electronic media to get information of new projects awarded

·         To be aware of complete product range

·         To be an expert with respect to the products within portfolio

·         Visit existing customers on a regular basis and develop a rapport with all concerned

·         Supporting team members to bridge up a good rapport with existing / new customer if required

·         Visit new customers based on their potential with respect to our products

·         To be aware of team members work plan and customer’s visit well in advance 

·         Increase customer base of the company and supporting team members for the same if required

·         Constant and timely follow up for payments and ensure the collection within approved credit terms

·         Ensure as a team there are no pending DO’s and getting them closed on time

·         Deal with customer complaints appropriately and as per defined systems and also  ensure that corrective and preventive actions are taken wherever required

·         Ensure that billing closes last day of every month

·         Ensure that prompt and timely deliveries are made by coordinating with the respective staff

·         Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

·         Any related activity assignment by the Line Manager
